Summary: ShelfHub is an authorized Amazon Selling Partner API application. We access your Amazon seller data only to provide services you have authorized. We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for advertising, or use it outside operating the platform on your behalf.
1. Who We Are
ShelfHub ("ShelfHub," "we," "us," or "our") is an AI-powered Amazon optimization platform operated by Meridian Inc, a Colorado-based company. Our platform is accessible at shelf-hub.com.
ShelfHub is a registered Amazon Selling Partner API (SP-API) solution provider. We access Amazon seller data exclusively through Amazon's official SP-API using OAuth authorization granted by each selling partner.
2. Information We Collect
When you authorize ShelfHub to access your Amazon seller account, we collect only the information needed to operate the platform on your behalf.
Amazon Seller Data via SP-API
- Product listing data: titles, bullet points, descriptions, backend keywords, product attributes, and A+ content.
- Catalog and inventory data: ASIN metadata, variation relationships, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Sales and performance data: order data, unit session rates, conversion rates, and BSR rankings.
- Brand Analytics data: Search Query Performance, Market Basket Analysis, and Repeat Purchase Behavior reports.
- Account health data: listing status, suppression flags, policy notifications, and performance metrics.
- Review data: star ratings, review counts, and review velocity per ASIN.
- Financial data: Amazon settlement reports for P&L reconciliation within the platform.
Account, Contact, Usage, and Technical Data
- Name, email address, and onboarding contact information.
- Login credentials, with passwords hashed and never stored in plaintext.
- Brand profile information, including voice, values, certifications, and product details.
- Dashboard actions such as approvals, rejections, edits, deployments, and audit activity.
- IP address, browser type, device information, session data, error logs, and performance monitoring data for security and reliability.
All Amazon seller data is accessed through OAuth authorization that you control. You may revoke ShelfHub's access at any time in Seller Central under Apps & Services -> Manage Your Apps.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Listing optimization: generate AI-optimized listing content and surface recommendations.
- Compliance monitoring: analyze listing content against FDA/FTC regulations and Amazon policies.
- Account health monitoring: alert you to suppression, policy violations, or account health issues.
- Performance tracking: track BSR, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and review velocity.
- Deployment: submit approved listing changes to Amazon through SP-API on your behalf.
- Financial reporting: reconcile Amazon settlement data with cost inputs to generate P&L reporting.
- Platform improvement: use aggregated and anonymized usage data to improve functionality.
We do not sell your data, use Amazon seller data for advertising, share data between seller accounts, train AI models on proprietary listing content without consent, or use data for any purpose beyond operating the platform on your behalf.
4. How We Share Your Information
- Amazon: approved listing updates are submitted to Amazon via SP-API.
- AI providers: listing content may be processed by Anthropic and/or OpenAI to generate optimized copy. No Amazon account credentials are transmitted to AI providers.
- Infrastructure providers: hosting and database infrastructure is used to operate the platform.
- Legal requirements: information may be disclosed if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers: data may transfer in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice before a different policy applies.
5. Amazon Information - Special Provisions
- Amazon Information is used only to provide services authorized by the selling partner.
- Amazon Information is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.
- Amazon Information is not shared between separate selling partner accounts.
- Amazon Information is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Amazon Information is encrypted at rest.
- Access is restricted to personnel who require it to operate and maintain the platform.
- Amazon credentials are stored encrypted and are never logged, displayed, or transmitted in plaintext.
- Upon account termination, Amazon Information associated with the account is permanently deleted within 30 days.
6. Data Security
No system is completely secure. If you believe your ShelfHub account has been compromised, contact us immediately at security@shelf-hub.com.
- Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher.
- Data at rest is encrypted.
- Amazon credentials and API keys are stored in encrypted form using industry-standard secrets management.
- Production access is restricted and monitored.
- Multi-factor authentication is required for administrator access.
- Security incidents involving Amazon Information are reported to Amazon within 24 hours of detection.
- Regular security reviews are conducted across systems and infrastructure.
7. Data Retention
- Active accounts: data is retained while your ShelfHub account is active.
- Deployment logs and audit history: retained for 2 years to support rollback and audit capabilities.
- Account termination: Amazon Information is deleted within 30 days and other personal data within 90 days.
- Legal holds: certain data may be retained longer if required by law or legal proceedings.
8. Your Rights and Controls
To exercise these rights, contact privacy@shelf-hub.com. We will respond within 30 days.
- Access: request a copy of data held about you and your Amazon seller account.
- Correction: update or correct account information in the dashboard.
- Deletion: request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Portability: request an export of listing history, audit history, and deployment logs.
- Revoke Amazon access: revoke ShelfHub SP-API access at any time in Seller Central.
- Opt out of AI processing: contact us to discuss options for processing listing data without AI provider involvement.
9. Cookies and Tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, behavioral analytics tools, or Google Analytics.
- Session cookies are required for authentication and platform functionality.
- Preference cookies remember dashboard settings and preferences.
10. Children's Privacy
ShelfHub is a business-to-business platform intended for adult Amazon sellers. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
11. International Users
ShelfHub is operated in the United States. If you access the platform from outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When material changes are made, we will notify users by email and by posting a notice in the ShelfHub dashboard at least 14 days before changes take effect.
The history of changes to this policy is available upon request.
